Defensive tackle Devin Dyer adds to Boltz interior defense
The Portland Boltz added to the strength of their defensive line with the addition of tackle Devin Dyer.
Dyer spent last season with the Vancouver Vipers of the Pacific Football League.
“Devin has already established himself as a strong rotation player and possible starter for us,” Boltz coach Aaron Fentress said. “He brings a unique combination of affective size and athleticism combined with tenacity and a hunger to hit someone.”
The 6-foot-1, 295-pound Dyer starred at Heritage High School in Vancouver. He played four-years of varsity ball and was named all-Greater St. Helens league.
Dyer next went to Central Washington where he received the team’s defensive player of the year award before transferring to College of the Siskiyous.
